Hello blog, how have you been? I have been good. My spring break was fine. I worked, went to the beach, spent time with family,  and went bowling with some friends. But, I hope you enjoyed my final product and my CCR. Have a great rest of your week! 

 Hello blog, how has your week been? It is finally Friday. I got home and was able to sleep a little bit. I work Saturday and Sunday so, I took Friday to rest. I got Chick-Fil-A afterschool. I took my little sister to Starbucks and McDonalds.  I can not wait for everyone to see my final task. I hope you enjoy it!! 

 hello blog, how are you doing? I’m doing OK. Today I’ll be talking about how we had to re-edit for the final task. Two blogs ago I spoke about how Jahziah’s sister peer reviewed our final task and comments and concerns she gave us. Last blog I talked about how we had to reshoot the dancing because of her comments and concerns. I’ll be talking about editing that scene. Jahziah and I decided to edit in class together, so we both were able to add ideas.  First thing we did was make sure the scenes were smooth. We also wanted to make sure the audios were smooth. It is a little hard to explain how to edit it’s more of a hands-on thing. We deleted the original and added the new one. after re-editing the scene, it looked a lot more smoother than before. Another thing she added was that we should’ve put background music in the part where the main actor gets taken. She thought it was a good idea that the audience felt some type of mystery during this part. I decided to add some suspen...

Hello blog, how was your day? I am so tired. I just got off of work. I am somewhat excited for spring break. Today I will be speaking to you about how my group and I had to refilm one of the sciences for the final task.  In the peer review, Jahziah’s sister is the one that watched our final task and gave us comments on it. She said the lighting during the dance scene was bad. She said since it was too light, it didn’t give the feeling that the actors were at a party. After we noticed this mistake, we decided to plan another day to refilm this scene. Around 5 to 6 people made it to the refilming day.  The day we decided to refill most of the people canceled so we had to work with who was there. It was a little upsetting and stressful but we made it work.  Hello blog, how has everything been? How has your week gone? It is almost time for spring break. I have been really tired lately especially with he time change. I have also been working a lot.  Everything is almost done! Today, I let my friends sister watch our final task and let my group and I know any concerns or things they thought could be better. I was curious to know what an outsider of the group would think of our final task, how they would perceive it, and if they would understand the message of it.  First, some things she said that could be improved includes that the cuts in the beginning of the film kind of looked choppy. Personally, I agree and it is something Jahziah and I have to fix. Next, she said at the end of the film that we should add some background music because it was quiet.  Hello Blog, how did your day go? It’s almost Friday. The day went by kind of quick. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I work Saturday and Sunday so, that’s what i’ll be doing.  Today was the last day of editing. It took some time but, I am so excited to see how it turns out. There is some bad news that J should probably mention…  So, our third member of the group, Kester might be switching schools. this came out of nowhere. if we had to re-film, we would have to find somebody to play his part. we made memories during this project so it’s kind of sad to see him go. hopefully he’ll go on and do better at his new school.  Some bad news about editing is that we won’t be able to get the texts on the screen.  Hey blog, how did your day go? School has been quite boring. I went out to eat with my dad afterschool at Longhorn. We talked and it was cool.  Today I will be telling you about the final step in editing. All that's left to edit is the last scene. In my opinion, it was way easier to split the scenes up and make the editing blogs by the day. This scene was the hardest to edit because of the length/ time of it and the different components.  As talked about in other blogs, my job was to match the audio and add the music. Jahziahs job was to cut the clips and pick the best out of all takes. Kester's job was to look over it and let us know if there was anything we should change or add.  I watched as Jahziah edited the clips of the third scene.  Hello blog , how are you? How did your Monday go? My day was fine. I was just tired and as soon as I got home, I took a long nap.  Today we will be talking about the second day of editing. The group members and I all had an assigned role for day two. Last class we edited scene one, the bedroom scene. Today well be editing scene two, the car scene. Scene one was pretty easy to edit so, I wasn’t expecting any troubles with scene two. Jahziah and I already made the jobs last class for editing. jahziah put the clips in order. I was in charge of matching the audio to the talking of the characters. Kester reviews each scene after it’s done being edited. Scene two is when the girls are on the way to the party.  Hello blog, how has your day been? Did you have anything fun planned for the weekend? I have been fine. I worked so, I am really tired.  In today's blog I will be telling you how my first day of editing went. The group and I decided to do all the editing in class together so the work was equally distrusted. We all made sure to share any ideas we had during this process as well.  I wanted to make the editing process easy. So, the scenes were all shot on different days and the scenes would be edited separately as well. It makes things easier for everyone. I use Inshot to edit videos. It is easy and the features are easy to learn. This app has so many cool features to use. I really enjoy the audio effects Inshot has on the app.  The first scene was filmed in Jahziahs bedroom. This scene took a while to edit because Jahziah and I were being very particular about the scenes and how ultimately we wanted it to turn out.  Hello Blog, how are you? How did your Friday go? My Friday was ok, 4/10. I work tomorrow so I am about to go to sleep soon. Have you ate, what are your plans for the weekend?  Its time!! I have been waiting for day three of filming since this process has started. It was the big scene where the lead actor goes missing/ suddenly disappears. Jahziah did not give everyone a set time to be at her house. She just told us not to get there before 5. This was our only scene that had to be filmed in the dark/ nighttime. Jahziah and I decided for this scene to be at night to make the effect feel more mysterious. I feel as if the dim lighting and it actually being night adds that affect and feeling for the viewers. I arrived to Jahziahs house around 5:30-6:00. Most of the other actors were already there. Everyone was just excited as me to see how this was going to come out.  Hello Blog , how did your day go ? My day went fine. I went to church with my family later at night and just got back home.  This is our second day of filming. I was actually very excited to shoot the second scene. The second scene was the car scene. This was after the girls got ready and we’re on the way to the party. It wasn’t our plan to drive on a busy street for safety reasons. The group and I found an empty parking lot and drove around to make the scene look more realistic. I wanted to make sure it looked like there was actually motion happening in the car instead of sitting in the car parked , pretending to drive / pretending the car is moving. It was obvious that the actors were going to be jamming to some music on the way to the party. The group and I had to find some non copyrighted music to play / insert into the film because we didn’t get the rights to use any other artists music.  Hey Blog, how is everything going ? How has your week been ? My week has been a 3/10 not going to lie. Things just kind of been hard at home but I hope it gets better soon.  It’s time to film ! I have been waiting to film because last project , Jahziah and I had so much fun. We laughed and even got Mcdonald’s ice cream. I woke up at a reasonable time because Jahziah thought we should start feeling around 1-3 pm. Jahziah and I wanted to make sure we got the good lighting for the day shots. I woke up , took a shower , brushed my teeth , and made sure to wear a comfortable outfit for our day of filming. I got to Jahziah’s house and she gave me a tour since it was my first time over.  Hello blog, I hope all is well. I have been having a tough week and I am honestly so tired but, I have to keep moving.  I have really been excited for this project. I might have dreamt of it ! I like the idea my group and I made up for this project. Even though this project seems easy as pie, there is a lot of planning and setting up needed to be done. I had to talk with my group members and make sure to pick a date that fit all of our schedules. The date was also majorly depending on me since I work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays which made it more difficult to find a time I was free and everyone was too. I also had to make sure my parents knew about this plan and that one them was home with my group and I and the other parent took my little sisters out for the day so they would not be such a distraction.  Hey Blog ! Hope you’re having a good week !!  The font that our opening credits will be in is something bold and a boxy shape where the letters have sharp edges. The color of these titles will be white with a thin grey border. The size of the text will be about this big. The names of the jobs will be smaller than the names of the person so that it stands out. Working Title: A title we are thinking about doing is "Cyber Snatcher". We're not fully agreed to the idea but it relates to what our final task is about. The titles will inter the screen by the entire thing fading in and they will exit by each letter fading out. Each title will be on the screen for about 4 to 5 seconds so it's easy to read.

On Sunday , February 4th , the group will finish filming to make sure we have everything as best as we can.   2/10-2/11: Filming will continue on Saturday, February 10th.
