Finally Finished!!


 Hello Blog, how did your day go? It’s almost Friday. The day went by kind of quick. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I work Saturday and Sunday so, that’s what i’ll be doing. 

Today was the last day of editing. It took some time but, I am so excited to see how it turns out. There is some bad news that J should probably mention… 

So, our third member of the group, Kester might be switching schools. this came out of nowhere. if we had to re-film, we would have to find somebody to play his part. we made memories during this project so it’s kind of sad to see him go. hopefully he’ll go on and do better at his new school. 

Some bad news about editing is that we won’t be able to get the texts on the screen. The group and I have to find a font for the peoples names that were part of the film. We tried to find another way to show the viewers the back-and-forth text messages. Jahziah was in charge of doing the text in the film. Jahziah is such a great editor and did a great job with his project. I ended up finding a font for the movie title and the credits. The web that I use is called dafont.com which was really good and helping me find a free font to incorporate into our film. I ended up picking I got an eerie type of font to match the feeling of the film. 

Now we’re finally finished. I’m so proud and happy with the turn out. I also enjoyed writing these blogs to tell you my step-by-step process of completing this project. next thing to do is show other people are filmed and see what they think and get feedback from them. First Day of Editing

 Hello blog, how has your day been? Did you have anything fun planned for the weekend? I have been fine. I worked so, I am really tired.  In today's blog I will be telling you how my first day of editing went. The group and I decided to do all the editing in class together so the work was equally distrusted. We all made sure to share any ideas we had during this process as well.  I wanted to make the editing process easy. So, the scenes were all shot on different days and the scenes would be edited separately as well. It makes things easier for everyone. I use Inshot to edit videos. It is easy and the features are easy to learn. This app has so many cool features to use. I really enjoy the audio effects Inshot has on the app.  The first scene was filmed in Jahziahs bedroom. This scene took a while to edit because Jahziah and I were being very particular about the scenes and how ultimately we wanted it to turn out. Planning Blog: Day Three of Filming

 Hello Blog, how are you? How did your Friday go? My Friday was ok, 4/10. I work tomorrow so I am about to go to sleep soon. Have you ate, what are your plans for the weekend?  Its time!! I have been waiting for day three of filming since this process has started. It was the big scene where the lead actor goes missing/ suddenly disappears. Jahziah did not give everyone a set time to be at her house. She just told us not to get there before 5. This was our only scene that had to be filmed in the dark/ nighttime. Jahziah and I decided for this scene to be at night to make the effect feel more mysterious. I feel as if the dim lighting and it actually being night adds that affect and feeling for the viewers. I arrived to Jahziahs house around 5:30-6:00. Most of the other actors were already there. Everyone was just excited as me to see how this was going to come out.
