First Day of Editing
Hello blog, how has your day been? Did you have anything fun planned for the weekend? I have been fine. I worked so, I am really tired.
In today's blog I will be telling you how my first day of editing went. The group and I decided to do all the editing in class together so the work was equally distrusted. We all made sure to share any ideas we had during this process as well.
I wanted to make the editing process easy. So, the scenes were all shot on different days and the scenes would be edited separately as well. It makes things easier for everyone. I use Inshot to edit videos. It is easy and the features are easy to learn. This app has so many cool features to use. I really enjoy the audio effects Inshot has on the app.
The first scene was filmed in Jahziahs bedroom. This scene took a while to edit because Jahziah and I were being very particular about the scenes and how ultimately we wanted it to turn out. Jahziah and I did not end up finishing editing because we just did not have enough time in one class period. I looked through the footage and made sure the best takes of each part was picked. We added the bloopers into a separate file so it would not get mixed up. I remember for our other project, Jahziah made a bloopers special so we can watch after our project was fully complete. I laughed a lot because watching back the clips was hilarious.
Jahziahs job consisted of putting all the clips together. The audio was my job. During filming, we made sure to record the other twice instead of any problems. So, while we were recording, we were also recording audio on another device. I had to match the audio from my phone to the actual video. It was kind of a hard job because if I did not get the audio to match the actors talking, it would be off and look weird. Then, Kester over looked scene one to make sure it looked good from a third persons eyes. Since the bell rung, we did not add any text into yet, but we will get to that part soon.
I'll see you for day two of editing. Have a nice night blog and a nice week !! Think before you speak -Annabels Quote of the Blog
