Planning Blog: Time to Get Set Up

 Hello blog, I hope all is well. I have been having a tough week and I am honestly so tired but, I have to keep moving.

 I have really been excited for this project. I might have dreamt of it ! I like the idea my group and I made up for this project. Even though this project seems easy as pie, there is a lot of planning and setting up needed to be done. I had to talk with my group members and make sure to pick a date that fit all of our schedules. The date was also majorly depending on me since I work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays which made it more difficult to find a time I was free and everyone was too. I also had to make sure my parents knew about this plan and that one them was home with my group and I and the other parent took my little sisters out for the day so they would not be such a distraction. My parents are very open with allowing friends over but, whoever's friends are coming over is the one who has to clean most of the stuff in the house. For example, if my friends are coming over, I have to make sure the kitchen, bathroom, and floor is cleaned to my moms liking. I also have to use some of my money to provide food and drinks. Who would enjoy working on an empty stomach? I like to make my guest feel welcome. Not everyone is comfortable in new environments, especially filming. My other priority is to make sure everyone feels included and like their ideas are coming to the table and feel considered. If I am working in the group then, I take my group into consideration always. I can't wait to film and begin this amazing project with my hardworking group. See you next time blog, stay safe !! :)

Hello blog, how was your day? I am so tired. I just got off of work. I am somewhat excited for spring break. Today I will be speaking to you about how my group and I had to refilm one of the sciences for the final task.  In the peer review, Jahziah’s sister is the one that watched our final task and gave us comments on it. She said the lighting during the dance scene was bad. She said since it was too light, it didn’t give the feeling that the actors were at a party. After we noticed this mistake, we decided to plan another day to refilm this scene. Around 5 to 6 people made it to the refilming day.  The day we decided to refill most of the people canceled so we had to work with who was there. It was a little upsetting and stressful but we made it work. The main characters were able to attend, but we didn’t have extra people for the dancing scene.  when everyone got to Jahziah’s house, we decided to talk and plan how we were going to to refilm this scene to make it better...

First Day of Editing

 Hello blog, how has your day been? Did you have anything fun planned for the weekend? I have been fine. I worked so, I am really tired.  In today's blog I will be telling you how my first day of editing went. The group and I decided to do all the editing in class together so the work was equally distrusted. We all made sure to share any ideas we had during this process as well.  I wanted to make the editing process easy. So, the scenes were all shot on different days and the scenes would be edited separately as well. It makes things easier for everyone. I use Inshot to edit videos. It is easy and the features are easy to learn. This app has so many cool features to use. I really enjoy the audio effects Inshot has on the app.  The first scene was filmed in Jahziahs bedroom. Finally Finished!!

 Hello Blog, how did your day go? It’s almost Friday. The day went by kind of quick. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I work Saturday and Sunday so, that’s what i’ll be doing.  Today was the last day of editing. It took some time but, I am so excited to see how it turns out. There is some bad news that J should probably mention…  So, our third member of the group, Kester might be switching schools. this came out of nowhere. if we had to re-film, we would have to find somebody to play his part. we made memories during this project so it’s kind of sad to see him go. hopefully he’ll go on and do better at his new school.  Some bad news about editing is that we won’t be able to get the texts on the screen. The group and I have to find a font for the peoples names that were part of the film. We tried to find another way to show the viewers the back-and-forth text messages.
