Production Blog: Almost Done


 Hello blog. I hope you had a great weekend. I had an amazing weekend. I took pictures at a football game on Friday for my friend. On Saturday, I had my birthday pictures. I woke up at 8am, took a shower, went to my hair appointment, and then had my makeup appointment at 12:30, and pictures were at 2:30. I received the pictures back yesterday and they looked so beautiful. 

After the group and I finished filming at the park, I decided to finish for that day. The following Saturday, my group and I decided to meet again. I guess my house was the coordinated meet up place. My group and I met up at my house and decided that all of us were hungry. My mom took us to Mc'Donalds and my group and I got nuggets, fries, and ice cream. My group and I needed a food bag for the last scene anyways so, it was convenient that my mom decided to get us food. My group and I all at ate and were ready to finish our last scene of the video. My group and I were going to finish filming inside the house but then decided that outside had better lighting. So, my group and I shot the last scene outside and wrapped everything up. I was so excited to finish. Everything that happened over all the days of filming were so fun and made me laugh a lot. I was grateful to work with Jahziah and have two great actors. Hello blog, how was your day? I am so tired. I just got off of work. I am somewhat excited for spring break. Today I will be speaking to you about how my group and I had to refilm one of the sciences for the final task.  In the peer review, Jahziah’s sister is the one that watched our final task and gave us comments on it. She said the lighting during the dance scene was bad. She said since it was too light, it didn’t give the feeling that the actors were at a party. After we noticed this mistake, we decided to plan another day to refilm this scene. Around 5 to 6 people made it to the refilming day.  The day we decided to refill most of the people canceled so we had to work with who was there. It was a little upsetting and stressful but we made it work. The main characters were able to attend, but we didn’t have extra people for the dancing scene.  when everyone got to Jahziah’s house, we decided to talk and plan how we were going to to refilm this scene to make it better...

First Day of Editing

 Hello blog, how has your day been? Did you have anything fun planned for the weekend? I have been fine. I worked so, I am really tired.  In today's blog I will be telling you how my first day of editing went. The group and I decided to do all the editing in class together so the work was equally distrusted. We all made sure to share any ideas we had during this process as well.  I wanted to make the editing process easy. So, the scenes were all shot on different days and the scenes would be edited separately as well. It makes things easier for everyone. I use Inshot to edit videos. It is easy and the features are easy to learn. This app has so many cool features to use. I really enjoy the audio effects Inshot has on the app.  The first scene was filmed in Jahziahs bedroom. Finally Finished!!

 Hello Blog, how did your day go? It’s almost Friday. The day went by kind of quick. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I work Saturday and Sunday so, that’s what i’ll be doing.  Today was the last day of editing. It took some time but, I am so excited to see how it turns out. There is some bad news that J should probably mention…  So, our third member of the group, Kester might be switching schools. this came out of nowhere. if we had to re-film, we would have to find somebody to play his part. we made memories during this project so it’s kind of sad to see him go. hopefully he’ll go on and do better at his new school.  Some bad news about editing is that we won’t be able to get the texts on the screen. The group and I have to find a font for the peoples names that were part of the film. We tried to find another way to show the viewers the back-and-forth text messages.
