Production Blog- Story of Pictures


 Good morning blog , I hope you had a good weekend. It is Monday morning. My weekend was fun. I went to a close friend of mine 16 birthday party. Today , I am basically going to explain the background stories of each picture I chose. First , is the picture of my mom and I when I was little. I can’t really give you the story of this picture because I don’t remember it. But , from looking at the picture I can see we were at the beach. I see some sand in the background , I have a little mermaid bathing suit on , and we’re sitting on a beach chair. Next , is a picture of my family on Valentine’s Day. I only have sisters so my dad usually gets all of us flowers and balloons on this day. My dad is the best because he cares and takes care of his family. Next , is another family picture of my mom , dad , older sister , and I. I don’t really remember this day either but I can see we were out eating together. Next , is a picture of my mom , dad , and I. This was the day I had my 8th grade prom and my parents were going to a wedding so , we were all dressed up that night. Lastly , is a picture of me when I was little. I feel like this picture actually shows me without any worries and truly happy. Now , to talk about the editing part of it , I made sure to crop all my pictures to show the center of them. I am starting to brainstorm a little of how I want to make my commercial. I want to do something that i’m interested in while telling you all about myself. I guess we’ll have to wait a little longer for it , have a good day. See you later blog !!

Hello blog, how was your day? I am so tired. I just got off of work. I am somewhat excited for spring break. Today I will be speaking to you about how my group and I had to refilm one of the sciences for the final task.  In the peer review, Jahziah’s sister is the one that watched our final task and gave us comments on it. She said the lighting during the dance scene was bad. She said since it was too light, it didn’t give the feeling that the actors were at a party. After we noticed this mistake, we decided to plan another day to refilm this scene. Around 5 to 6 people made it to the refilming day.  The day we decided to refill most of the people canceled so we had to work with who was there. It was a little upsetting and stressful but we made it work. The main characters were able to attend, but we didn’t have extra people for the dancing scene.  when everyone got to Jahziah’s house, we decided to talk and plan how we were going to to refilm this scene to make it better...

First Day of Editing

 Hello blog, how has your day been? Did you have anything fun planned for the weekend? I have been fine. I worked so, I am really tired.  In today's blog I will be telling you how my first day of editing went. The group and I decided to do all the editing in class together so the work was equally distrusted. We all made sure to share any ideas we had during this process as well.  I wanted to make the editing process easy. So, the scenes were all shot on different days and the scenes would be edited separately as well. It makes things easier for everyone. I use Inshot to edit videos. It is easy and the features are easy to learn. This app has so many cool features to use. I really enjoy the audio effects Inshot has on the app.  The first scene was filmed in Jahziahs bedroom. Finally Finished!!

 Hello Blog, how did your day go? It’s almost Friday. The day went by kind of quick. Do you have any plans for the weekend? I work Saturday and Sunday so, that’s what i’ll be doing.  Today was the last day of editing. It took some time but, I am so excited to see how it turns out. There is some bad news that J should probably mention…  So, our third member of the group, Kester might be switching schools. this came out of nowhere. if we had to re-film, we would have to find somebody to play his part. we made memories during this project so it’s kind of sad to see him go. hopefully he’ll go on and do better at his new school.  Some bad news about editing is that we won’t be able to get the texts on the screen. The group and I have to find a font for the peoples names that were part of the film. We tried to find another way to show the viewers the back-and-forth text messages.
