Second Day of Editing

 Hello blog , how are you? How did your Monday go? My day was fine. I was just tired and as soon as I got home, I took a long nap.  Today we will be talking about the second day of editing. The group members and I all had an assigned role for day two. Last class we edited scene one, the bedroom scene. Today well be editing scene two, the car scene. Scene one was pretty easy to edit so, I wasn’t expecting any troubles with scene two. Jahziah and I already made the jobs last class for editing. jahziah put the clips in order. I was in charge of matching the audio to the talking of the characters. Kester reviews each scene after it’s done being edited. Scene two is when the girls are on the way to the party. They are in the car, singing and dancing, and having a blast. at first I said there wasn’t gonna be any problems, but then we came into one... Production Blog: Outside and at the Park

 Good morning Blog.  I hope you have had a good week so far. Tuesday I finished my CERT class and yesterday I had my firefighting class. I am going to have a busy two weeks. I have to get my nails done, take pictures for a football game, birthday pictures, and making sure I get good grades for the first quarter. But, in today's blog I want to speak on recording in our other two locations. After finishing filming inside the house, we decided we were going to finish filming the next day, Sunday. The next location was outside my house. My group and I imagined a scene where the girl left the house mad and the boy was confused and chased her out the house. The girl was supposed to drive away leaving the boy stuck. My friend, Jaelis was not able to actually drive away because I did not want her mom getting upset. She has her permit but, her mom does not play with situations like that. My mom was with us the entire time filming though so, I ended up driving away but the camera did no...

Production Blog: Cuts

 Hiiiii blog. Today is my birthday. I am so blessed to make it to another year of life. I am grateful for my family and good friends I have made along the years. I am out of town right now for my aunt, cousin, and my birthday.  So, in the last couple blogs I talked about the process of the group and I filming. It was a fun process and I enjoyed working with Jahziah, Jaelis, and Aurum. The music video is not done yet though. Jahziah and I decided to split up the editing process to make it quicker and easier for our group. I decided to edit the first half and Jahziah the second. I edited the first half and sent it to her. Then, she put the first and second halves together. I went through the first clips and seen the parts that were going to make the cut. I enjoy the editing part because it makes me excited and anxious for the final music video. Most of the scenes were shot a couple times so, I had to make sure I picked the best one.
